I was offered to resubmit the Axonometric projection, part of the project 3.2. And, as I mentioned before, instead of reworking the axonometry only I decided to rework all together, project 2.2 Bathroom Planning and all project 3.2 including axonometry obviously. Because at the final stage I realized that I am not happy with my bathroom despite the fact that I have got a good marks for it. Now I am happy with bathroom but I did not get it marked, here is the part of email from Judy Jarman, Head of Open Learning office explaining the reason:
“In your Section 3 marking tutor recommended that you should send in the pencil and inked drawings relating to the colour rendered axo you submitted. As these had been omitted, these particular drawings would have been accepted for marking.
However you submitted a totally new version of the project (which was not what had been asked for) and so this could not be accepted for marking.
(The resubmissions policy is set out in the Open Learning Agreement and aims to be fair to all students, only allowing resubmissions as requested by the marking tutor for work that has failed or is missing.)”
What is absolutely fair. I have got a mixed fillings, from one hand I am a bit disappointed that I did not improve my mark for 3th set of projects, but from other hand I am glad I reworked the project, as I am satisfied with it completely now. And it is a strong project for my portfolio I would not be ashamed to show to my clients. I mean first option was ok for student project, and the second one is good enough for real customer. For my opinion. I think I would not resubmit it again to save my and tutor’s time, I just take my lesson for the future and share it here in my diary
