Rendering, drawing, sketching

Hi Eve, I also came across your page whilst searching for inspiration for project 4. I’m like you also doing the same course and I’ve just submitted project 3. I’m VERY impressed with your drawing and rendering skills.. Any chance you could share some tips? I really struggle with the rendering.. Am even considering art classes. Anything you may have to share would be useful. My issues, getting true colour representation and applying shadows!! Man it’s tough.

Stay well and hope to hear from you!
Sonia

Dear Sonia, many thanks for your kind comment, I am very pleased. I spent all day thinking how can I give you a proper help with drawings, because I know exactly what are you talking about, I have been there myself and did not go too far. The main thing I understood about sketching is that it is better to sketch with someone rather than on your own. So art classes is a great idea. Another great idea – sketching marathon around the world started by Enrico Casarosa story artist living in San Francisco. Can you imagine what a great fun is that – to gather with several artists in your city, to sketch all day knowing that at the same time many artists in many cities all over the world doing the same! And to share all your sketches after! I never did it myself but I would love to. I took these pictures from SketchCrawl forum, last session in France. I think this is the best way to learn drawing.

I found on Twitter and following now Interior Designer Chat , founded by Barbara Segal, who is President of  Noir Blanc Interiors, LLC an established  design firm, with a reputation in the Yachting Industry and Luxury High-Rise Interiors. She based in Chicago. I would consider it as a good promotional tool, the source of ideas how to present yourself and your projects, info about another promotional tools and so on.
