Hello world :)
Last couple evenings I was busy cutting fabric samples, I have got several requests at the same time from Open Learning students from all over the world. It is amazing to be related to someone’s projects in Canada, China, Germany, France, Latvia! And it is bloody motivating! They are working on their projects as I do, they are struggling to make time for it the same as me. Come on, guys, keep going! Tonight I am working on 5.1 Flooring and walls. Good luck with your stuff!
History of styles book idea
Just thinking… This would be great idea for history of styles book. When I just started mine I had something like this in my mind… Richard Chadwick interior sketches.
Michelle Morelan
Do not ask me what I was looking for on Pinterest, I can’t remember now. But I found something inspirational there – the beautiful renderings and sketches of Michelle Morelan.

And then I found something even better! Web site of Michelle with even more portfolios, mood boards, blog and even video tutorials for several awesome marker renderings! You know what, this is the third Interior Designer I found that can actually render really well. Many great designers can live without it and still be great, but it is better to practice anyway
Milestone and Fabrics
I am not ready to send my 5th set yet, so I moved my milestone to 15th of November now. Never mind, I’ll get there at some point anyway. Today I’ll carry on with Home Cinema project and hopefully finish it. And whole Building Construction project is not touched yet… But the rest is done!
And after big clearance at our Sofa Studio I have got a lot of great fabric books. I cut samples to size about 150 x 150 mm and compose sets of various pieces for fellow students anywhere in the world. I make random selection trying to give you better choice. I include velvet and cotton, linen, wool, fake and natural leather, plain colours and patterns, cold and warm colours etc. If you contact me before you order your set I can compose it according to your special request. Have a look in my etsy shop.
Duck Egg
My another Twitter discovery – small but top quality business, fabrics and furniture in shabby chic style. Everything is just perfect - pictures, colours, layout and texts. Calm, peaceful and very English. Duck Egg.
